Ivy Cottage Flowers
Hello Sally here, I love to be creative with flowers and have a passion for floristry and floral art. After gaining my qualification in Professional Floristry with the Horticultural Correspondence College in 2021, and working alongside excellent florists in the local area, I am now keen and ready to put my skills to use.
Most days you will find me in my flower studio at Ivy Cottage creating floral arrangements. My flowers are sourced from local suppliers, reputable wholesalers in Yorkshire and whenever possible from my own garden here at Ivy Farm Cottages.
I am now very keen on preserving and drying flowers and use a range of techniques to turn your most meaningful flowers into an everlasting piece of art. Each design is carefully arranged to reflect your story and to create a one-of-a-kind keepsake for you to treasure long after your event.

I have had the best possible experience dealing with Sally. What a genuinely lovely lady. One of our daughters got married in September and the other daughter was a bridesmaid. I wanted to have their bridal bouqets made into dried floral art in floral frames. Peter at the Frame shop in Skipton made bespoke frames for me and Sally painstakingly preserved the flowers and then created stunning displays with them. I picked the two incredible pieces today. They are absolutely amazing. Soon my daughters will have the most beautiful gifts to hang on their walls and have something to treasure from the beautiful wedding. I’m so thrilled with the 3 dried flower box arrangements that Sally made to remember my Dad. They are beautiful.
I really had no idea what to do with the flowers, other than a vague idea of having them professionally preserved. Sally listened carefully to what I was trying to achieve, dried the flowers perfectly and then we carefully worked out what to do. Dried here in the cottage, cropped and hung throughout the summer or carefully preserved to maintain their colour and beauty using various techniques, I am able to create an everlasting piece of floral art to help you celebrate and remember your meaningful flowers.
